What are Excess Proceeds/Surplus Funds?

When a property is auctioned off due to Foreclosure, any excess of funds over the remaining amount due by the previous homeowner is entitled to that individual.

How long does it take for me to receive my money?

Approximately 6 months but could be as short as 3 months. The actual processing time may vary depending upon the complexity of your case, as well as state and local legal requirements.

Do I pay any upfront fees for your service?

No. We never ask our clients for money in advance. We pay all the upfront costs to get your claim processed. We do not get paid until you get paid. In essence, we work for you for free until you receive a check.

What if I have liens or judgements?

Many clients thought that they would not be able to recover any proceeds since they had a 2nd mortgage or line of credit that is larger than their balance but that is not always the case. We have recovered funds many times for clients with other lien holders for many reasons. Please do not let this money sit there, if you or the lien holders do no claim then the state will eventually get to keep the proceeds. There is no risk for you to sign on with us as we NEVER ask you for money up front and only get paid if we get you money back.

How do you get my information?

JE Solutions has an internal team of researchers that perform preliminary audits to find individuals and families that are owed money. Then we find and reach out to these individuals through phone, email, direct mail to current addresses, and social media.

Are there different kinds of Unclaimed Funds?

How will I know when the funds have been recovered?

We update all our clients every month via email so you will always know where we are at in the process and what progress we are making.

How do you get paid?

We receive a contingent consulting fee for our services. When and if you are paid, our fee is deducted from your recovered funds.

Is this legal?

Yes. We utilize business practices that have been successfully used for decades.

Where are the unclaimed funds or abandoned assets located?

We research the financial records of government agencies in search of unclaimed assets.

What type of asset might be owed to me?

Due to delinquency or abandonment, assets waiting to be claimed might originate from: retirement accounts (401(k), IRA, etc.), old bank accounts, certificates of deposit (CDs), stocks, bonds (corporate, municipal, etc.), insurance policies, annuities, mutual/trust/index funds, securities, Treasury notes/bonds/bills, commodities (metals, agricultural, livestock, energy), safe deposit box contents, inheritance money, etc.

How much time and effort is required by me?

It only takes about 10 minutes to review and approve our enrollment forms. After that, we do all the work needed to apply for the funds.

How do I know I am the correct person being contacted?

Through extensive research of public records, we are able to accurately match unclaimed assets with the correct recipient. In our initial conversation, we will confirm our research. If we are in error, no obligations are incurred.

Will my personal information be shared?

No. Information obtained about potential claimants is from public records. Any information we obtain will never be shared.

Once the Claim is approved, how do I get paid?

The state will issue a check and send it to you.

What if the Claim is not approved?

Even though we have a near 100% success rate, you do not owe us anything if funds are not collected.

Why should I do business with your company?

There are many reasons. Here are a few:

(1) Experience: Having worked on hundreds of claims, we know how to overcome obstacles to get your Claim approved. We know how to navigate through all the legal requirements. We know how to locate and work with other professionals who assist in the process.

(2) Efficiency: We have a nearly 100% success rate. We have systems in place to make sure tasks are being completed to expedite positive results. Throughout the process, we keep you informed of our progress.

(3) Commitment: Regardless of how long it takes, we are committed to seeing your Claim through to a successful conclusion.

(4) Honesty: We are open and honest about every step of the process and will keep you updated on the progress of your claim.

(5) Integrity: We value our relationships with our clients and prove it by how you are treated during the entire process of getting your claim completed.

Why is it important to start the process now?

Due to state and federal laws, there are usually deadlines prior to which a claim must be made. Otherwise, the money can no longer be claimed. Thus, “time is of the essence.”

How do I get started?

Simply call our company. We will confirm our research and explain the process. Once we have the agreement and authorization forms signed, we will begin the process.
